Doctor duo sell in Woollahra for about $9 million
ORTHOPEDIC surgeon Professor Craig Waller and his wife Dr Fiona Waller have sold their Woollahra residence off market.
The 1860s home fetched about $9 million, up solidly on the $7.45 million paid in 2015 when it was bought from the corporate adviser Geoff Hilton.
The street whisper is that the undisclosed buyer is Ilse O’Reilly, the wife of the former media executive Cameron O’Reilly.
The Queen Street Victorian terrace has a classic contemporary aesthetic across three substantial levels. It is set on a private 417 sqm parcel just outside the village.
The O’Reilly’s previously owned the penthouse in Darlinghurst’s Top of the Town apartment complex that was sold for $10.9 million earlier this year to the property developer Duncan Hardie and his wife, Lyn.
For a time, O’Reilly, the son of media magnate and former Heinz boss Tony O’Reilly and Ilse had the lease of the $71 million harbourfront estate Elaine at Double Bay.
