Palmer is all about transparency. She tells People that she likes to post photos showing her journey with acne for this reason. "Some people can keep their makeup on for 10 damn days or eat whatever they want and not [have] one little pimple," she says. "That's just not my life. And I think the more it's normalized that that's okay and that it's not a big deal, the better we are."

Palmer opened up about her diet to People. She says that she tries to not stress about it too much. Palmer opts for a balanced diet. "I want to eat and do certain things so I think it's just about balancing, knowing at the end of the day, it's not always going to be perfect. Yes, you could live your life very strict about every single little thing or you can just know that sometimes it's going to be up, sometimes it's going to be down. So I think I found my place somewhere in the middle."

Palmer is an avid chef. She revealed some of her favorite meals that she makes to People. "I love to cook breakfast food," she says. "Breakfast potatoes, pancakes, eggs, bacon, all of that good stuff. I also like to make pasta and homemade pizzas. I do love making tacos, I even have had some fun making meatless tacos. I made tacos with mushrooms and with the right seasoning, honey you get right in there. It tastes like the real thing, just perfect. The love for tacos runs deep."

Palmer has been busy over these last few years. However, she tells Women's Health that she is working on taking breaks from things. "I realized it's hard to say no because we don't trust," she says. "We don't trust that if we say no the opportunity will come again. Or we don't trust that if we say no we've made the right choice. Or we're scared that if we say no we're going to offend somebody. But I realized that saying yes to too many things was stressing me out the most."

When it comes to fitness, Palmer likes to use an app. She tells Women's Health that she's a fan of the Melissa Wood Health app in particular. The app provides yoga and Pilates inspired exercises. "My body responds incredibly well to Pilates," she explains. "There are videos that are 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 40 minutes long. It's so smart because sometimes 10 minutes is all the time we have."
