Rachitha is a multilingual who can speak Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and English.

She made her debut as an actor in the Kanada language television show Megha Mandala in 2007.

In 2012, Rachitha was cast in her debut theatre film Parijatha as Nandhini alongside the likes of Diganth, Aindrita Ray, and Sharan.

Rachitha’s acting career skyrocketed in 2013 when she was cast in the role of Thanga Meenatchi Saravanan Perumal in Saravanan Meenatchi Season 2. Her fans also nicknamed her after the titular character of “Meenatchi”.

She competed as a contestant on Bigg Boss Tamil – Season 6 (2022-2023) and was evicted on day 91.
