In between her work schedule with WSEE TV, she worked as the business anchor and reporter for a weather news station based in Erie. Her stay with the station gave her the opportunity to cover the Haiti Earthquake in 2010. The reporter subsequently relocated to Huntington City and took a job with WSAZ News. Meanwhile, Grady was a student while working with these many stations, so, after she graduated from college, the reporter joined News 10 and Fox 23 News and worked as the anchor for their morning shows.
