Take A Peak Inside Jay Leno's Amazing Garage

Jay Leno is best known as the longtime former host of The Tonight Show, but the late night funnyman is also quite well known for his amazing car collection. Over the years, Leno has put together a very impressive car collection and he even has his own garage, where he works on his cars himself. Leno was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 2014, the same year he retired from hosting The Tonight Show. He can now be seen hosting the TV series, Jay Leno's Garage, on CNBC. With a net worth of $350 million, Leno can afford some pretty nice cars. Jay Leno has so many amazing cars in his collection, but we have narrowed it down to 10 highlights.

Ariel Atom

Leno's Ariel Atom was made by TMI Autotech. The car has no roof or windows and just a very small windshield. The Ariel Atom has been declared one of the fastest accelerating cars in the world, with a 0 to 60 miles per hour time of just 2.89 seconds.

2014 McLaren P1

The McLaren P1 was dubbed the world's first hybrid supercar and combines gasoline and electric power engines. The gasoline engine provides 727 horsepower while the electric motor adds another 176 hp for a total output of 903 horsepower. The P1 can go from 0 to 62 miles per hour in 3 seconds and has a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.

2001 Blastolene Special "Crystal Tank Car"

One of Jay's more unique cars was built by glass artist Randy Grubb. This car is street legal and uses a M47 Patton tank engine, or a Continental AV 1790 5B. The engine weighs a massive 9,500 pounds and is combined with an aluminum body. The Crystal Tank has 810 horsepower and cost Jay a cool $125 thousand.

McLaren F1

Leno's McLaren F1 is one of only 106 examples that were made from 1992 to 1998. This car seats three instead of two, and the driver's seat is actually in the center for a better view of the road. This luxury car was designed by Formula One car designer Gordon Murray.

LLC Rocket

Murray also designed this concept car for his company the Light Company Rocket. Leno's is one of only 55 examples to be produced. This single-seater has a super lightweight body and uses a Yamaha motorcycle motor.

1986 Lamborghini Countach

Jay Leno owned this Countach for more than 20 years. At one point he used it as his preferred vehicle for everyday driving, including to and from The Tonight Show studio.

1970 Citroen SM

This French high performance car was designed to cruise at 100 miles per hour. The Citroen SM was made from 1970 to 1975 and won the US Motor Trend Car of the Year award in 1972.

1970 Mazda Cosmo 110S

Leno enjoys this grand touring coupe, which is powered by a Mazda Wankel engine. The fact that these cars were limited to just one being produced per day makes it pretty rare.

1969 Lamborghini Miura P400S

Ferrucio Lamborghini produced this expensive vehicle from 1966 to 1973. The Miura helped spark an interest in high performance mid-engine two seat sports cars.

1966 Yenko Stinger Corvair

This classic luxury car made by Chevy has a 4-speed transmission and has often been seen racing in stock car events. Leno's version has a white paint job with blue accents
